A lot of my guns are former Soviet bloc guns, specifically designed for steel case ammo. My guns that feed ste I have shot some 9mm in my my SW M&P and my SW 3913, not a lot but some. My understanding is that steel cases are not reloadable and that the brass from the brass cases is sold in order to cover the range of upkeep costs.
